Happy New Year! I want to invite you to join me as I begin to share the latest updates in my artistic path. From upcoming shows and exhibitions to recent milestones, this blog will keep you connected to the evolving story behind my work. Whether you are an art lover, a fellow creator, or simply curious, there is something here for you to explore and enjoy.

Shows and Exhibitions in 2026
The year ahead holds exciting opportunities to present my art in person. I believe that experiencing art face-to-face creates a unique connection that digital images cannot fully capture. Here are some of the events I am preparing for:
Local Art Tours and Exhibitions
I will be applying to several local art shows that attract a diverse crowd of art enthusiasts. These offer a chance to meet visitors, discuss my work, and share the stories behind each piece.
Gallery Exhibitions
I am eager to be part of several Kitchener-Waterloo Society of Artists (KWSA) exhibitions, so stay tuned for more information on these opportunities. These spaces provide a focused environment where viewers can immerse themselves in the themes and emotions of my art.
Each show or exhibition is a chance to connect, inspire, and grow. I look forward to welcoming you to these events and sharing the energy that comes from seeing art in person.
Highlights from Recent Achievements
Reflecting on 2025, I am grateful for the moments when my art reached new audiences and received recognition. Here are some highlights that stand out:
Local Colour KWSA Pop-Up Shop
Last August, Downtown Kitchener's pop-up shop "Square Peg" hosted a blend of art exhibitions with retail. This event featured my artwork alongside wearable art clothing. If you missed it, my fashions remain available online at www.legaleriste.com/ann.l.gordon.
New Hamburg Art Tour Participation
I was honored to be a participating artist in the 2025 New Hamburg Tour on September 20 and 21. This event brought together local artists and visitors in a vibrant celebration of creativity. I hope to join again next year.
Charlie West Square Foot Show Selection
Two of my pieces were selected for the Charlie West Square Foot Show in Kitchener, organized by KWSA. Being chosen for this show was a meaningful recognition of my work.
These achievements reflect the ongoing dialogue between my art and the community. Each opportunity to share my creations fuels my passion and encourages me to explore new directions.
The Heart of My Art
Art is more than a technique or aesthetics. It is a way to share a part of myself with others. My goal is to create pieces that evoke emotions, memories and invite reflection.
I believe art has the power to inspire, heal, and bring moments of joy. Whether through a bold splash of color or a subtle texture, I want my work to resonate with those who experience it. Many thanks to those of you who have become owners of my original artwork or fashion items. I invite you and others to follow along as I continue to develop my style and new creations.
Stay Connected and Join the Journey
To keep up with my latest work, shows, and behind-the-scenes moments, I encourage you to stay connected. I regularly share updates on social media @Alg ArtNook and through this blog. Your feedback and engagement inspire me to keep at my easel.
Thank you for being part of this artistic journey.
Cheering you on and wishing you continued success Ann!!
